Advice for Road Runners: The Brooks Men's Ghost 16 Running Shoes have been updated with DNA LOFT v3 cushioning. This means they offer a softer and more energetic underfoot experience.

Underfoot Feel

As mentioned, the Brooks Ghost 16 Running Shoes now feature DNA LOFT v3 foam. This nitrogen infused foam offers more cushioning and energy return than previously used DNA LOFT v2. However, it's worth nothing that the overall feel is very similar to the Ghost 15.

You should expect a very stable and balanced underfoot feel. This is because the midsole doesn't feel overly soft or firm - it sits somewhere in the middle.

An updated RoadTack rubber improves durability.

Upper Fit

In comparison to the previous model, the Brooks Ghost 16 Running Shoes' upper feels slightly softer and more comfortable. The fit is almost identical. This means they continue to offer an accommodating fit in the toe box, and a secure fit around the midfoot and ankle.

Ideal Run Type

The Brooks Men's Ghost 16 Running Shoes are likely to feel at their best on slower paced runs. They are responsive enough to cope with some steadier efforts too.

Even though the Brooks Ghost are neutral running shoes, they feel very stable.

Sizing Advice

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.

Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
